Your account (name, email, age group), what you tell us about yourself to pitch lessons, the courses you make, your progress, quick-check, practice and exam answers, the questions you ask the professor and the answers, and how long you learn. We keep these to teach you and show your progress. You can download all of it (You → My data) and delete your account at any time. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Speaking to the professor uses your browser's own speech recognition: your browser turns speech into text, and we keep only the text, never audio.
To save you typing, we suggest your country, state and city from your internet connection's address, using a location database on our own server (IP geolocation by DB-IP). Nothing is sent to anyone else for this, and you can change what we suggest.
Each time the AI does something for you we record what it was for and what it cost, to run the service and keep within budget. These records are kept for 13 months. After that only monthly totals remain, with no person or course in them.
We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep your place, and no advertising or tracking cookies. The cookies we use.
Children learn only in a child profile inside a parent's account, with the parent's recorded consent. We keep a first name, an age group, and what the child does in lessons and practice, including the questions they type, which the parent can read. No email, login, photo, school or address, and no microphone in child mode. Child mode can't share, join classes or change the account.
How long we keep it: until the parent deletes the profile (You → Family), or the parent's account is deleted, or the profile hasn't been used for 365 days, when it's deleted automatically. The record of the parent's consent is kept, without the child's data. A parent can see, download or delete their child's data at any time.
A teen's questions stay private. A parent sees a teen's progress only if the teen agrees, and the teen can stop sharing at any time.
